The 30-Day Calm Plan
A simple way to set up your diffuser well, keep everything else steady, and decide with real information after 30 days. Print it, stick it on the fridge, and fill in the tracker once a week.
1Pick the right spot
- The room your dog spends the most time in, usually where they sleep or wait for you.
- An outlet within a few feet of their bed or favorite resting place.
- Upright and uncovered: not behind a sofa, curtains or under a shelf.
- Away from doors, windows and vents that move a lot of air.
- One diffuser per main room or floor. Each covers up to about 700 sq ft.
2Set it up in two minutes
- Remove the refill cap and screw the bottle into the bottom of the diffuser.
- Plug it straight into a wall outlet, upright with the vents facing up. Never sideways, upside down or on an extension cord.
- Press the button. When the indicator light is on, it’s working.
- Leave it on 24/7. Write today’s date in the tracker below.
- Swap in the second refill around day 30.
Safety: the refill liquid is harmful or fatal if swallowed. Keep refills away from children and pets, and don’t let your dog chew the diffuser.
3Keep everything else steady
- Same walk and meal times every day.
- Keep using the cues and training your dog already knows.
- Leave a quiet retreat open, like their bed or an open crate.
- Try not to add other new calming products in the first two weeks, so you can tell what’s making a difference.
4Your weekly tracker

Tip: fill in Week 0 before you plug the diffuser in. Changes, if they come, tend to be gradual.
